No link to calcium deficiency
It is mistakenly believed that white spots on the nails come from a deficiency of minerals, more precisely calcium. Which is far from the truth. It is all simply a trace left by a shock suffered by the nail and disappears as the nail grows and lengthens. In general, it fades after 6 months.

If the stain seems to grow and invade the surface of the nail, there is reason to question. It can actually happen that the stain grows in size and gradually covers the nail. In this case, we do not waste a second and we go to medical consultation.
Fading of the white spot on the nail
Although it is difficult to remove stains on the nails, it is nevertheless recommended to protect your hands from shocks. Secondly, it is absolutely necessary to avoid gnawing at them. Finally, care is taken to maintain the nails with the right cosmetics or use natural remedies to strengthen them. The mixture of lemon juice and olive oil is the flagship remedy. Another alternative is to apply a colored varnish to camouflage the stains. Care should also be taken to wear gloves for dishes and preferably use an acetone-free solvent.
