The word RPM is often mentioned when talking about an electric file, but what does that really mean? RPM is equivalent to rotational speed, so 20 RPM, also written 20K, means 20,000 rotations per minute.
How do I recognize what I need?
It will all depend on how often you perform poses and whether it will be used for the hands, the feet or even both. As long as you do it occasionally, you can opt for a so-called basic model up to 20K. If you plan to use your lime every day or almost, opt for those that are above 20-25K. Finally, those who wish to use it for the feet, we recommend a rather robust file of 30K and more to remove the horn.
Your different options
Now that you have determined your RPM requirement, you will have different options to consider. Some models will adjust the speed on the box. Some less expensive models offer a speed dimmer directly on the connector wire of the device. Then, if you are used to traveling to perform care, a portable electric nail drill could be practical for you since it works with rechargeable batteries, isn’t that great? Otherwise a choice of colors will be available for most models, both for fans of pink and the most classic!
